Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 29, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lensloot mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by the developers of Lensloot (“Lensloot”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Lensloot lets you photograph or scan a product so that our artificial-intelligence systems can attempt to identify it, and then helps you find matching or similar products on Amazon. The Service also lets you save your scans, photos, and identifications to a personal history and to collections.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Service for your own non-commercial use. We retain all rights not expressly granted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload content that infringes the rights of others or that you do not have the right to submit; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service; (d) misuse the AI features to identify people or to generate misleading information; or (e) use the Service in a way that violates Amazon’s or any third party’s terms of use.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and other content you submit (“User Content”). To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your User Content — including sending it to our third-party AI provider — solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you capture.

6. AI identification — no guarantee of accuracy

Product identifications are generated by automated systems and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. Lensloot does not guarantee that an identified product, price, availability, or Amazon match is correct. Always verify details on Amazon before making a purchase. Identifications are provided for convenience only and are not professional, safety, authentication, or valuation advice.

7. Amazon links & affiliate relationship

The Service contains affiliate links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Lensloot earns from qualifying purchases, at no additional cost to you. When you click an Amazon link you leave the Service and your activity is governed by Amazon’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not sell the products shown, do not control Amazon listings, prices, or availability, and are not responsible for your transactions with Amazon or any third-party seller. “Amazon” and related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates; Lensloot is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the Lensloot name and logo, is owned by the developers of Lensloot and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

9. Subscriptions & payments

Some features may be offered through paid subscriptions or in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store. Pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the App Store and disclosed at the point of purchase.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lensloot and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service, your reliance on any identification, or any purchase you make on Amazon. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or USD 50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lensloot from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or for any lawful reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the developers of Lensloot are based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
